Cisco Jabber 9.6.0 font color changing frequently to gray

I rarely ever change the font from the default (Segoe UI - 10 - black) but I've noticed after upgrading from 9.2.5 to 9.6.0,  I'll do something in another program and frequently when I reply to a chat, my text will send as gray instead of black and even some times change to Times New Roman.

I've made sure all of my Chats - Options are set for the Segoe UI 10pt and even uninstalled and reinstalled. Still with no difference in results.

Ideas?

I have the same issue.  Was fine in 9.2.x but started with 9.6.0 and is still happening since upgrading to 9.6.1.  I'm running Windows 8.1 Pro x64.

Followup - I'm currently running Jabber 9.7.0.18197 (It's a beta version) and can confirm this issue has been resolved as of that build.

I have no idea when 9.7.0 will be officially released, but Cisco knows it's a problem and fixed it.
