cisco jabber office integration error cj 4000:1000

Hello everyone,

I have tried looking everywhere for a solution for this error but without success, is there anyone outhere who have found what is actually causing this error in cisco jabber?

Hi,

 

there is already an "old" bug, don't know if you use Jabber 12.9.5 or it is there is some other versions as well:

From the bug:

Conditions: Only occurs with multiple IM clients being installed and Jabber is not set as the default IM app in the following registry key: "DefaultIMApp"

Workaround: To remove error we can set the registry key to Cisco Jabber and restart outlook then jabber.

Jabber is not the only IM app on the pc.

Jabber version is :Version 12.9.5.55511 Build 305511 

In registry key "DefaultIMApp" Jabber is already set as default app that seems not to be the problem but anyway thank you for the suggestion.

 

Have you considered updating Jabber? There is already 12.9.6 out there, or even 14.x versions.

have already tested other versions of Jabber on other machines, same problem 🤷‍

That's weird.

When I haven't set the reg key to Jabber, I get the error too.

But as soon as a change it back to Jabber and restart Jabber, the error is gone.

It still occurs with Jabber 14.3
