Connect Kronos HomecareTTE D/82JCT-U to Cisco voice gateway?

We have a client who has an older Kronos HomecareTTE system on a D/82JCT-U board and we are trying to plug this into a Cisco VG but it does not appear to work. The connection from the D/82JCT-U board to their old Avaya system is two wires. When that plug is moved over to the VG, it doesn't work properly. Does anyone have any experience in connecting these two systems or could advise on a possible debug on the Cisco side to try and troubleshoot the connection? Kronos support mentioned that it may be possible to connect the two systems and gave us the following instructions, but they don't support it and these instruction do not work for us (Using CUCM 12.5). They shared the following:

1. We need to be connect to the Cisco system via the analog gateway.
2. The suggested emulation from the analog gateway port is Lucent (2-wire).
3. The analog port must be configured to send caller ID.
4. The analog port “may” need a make to push 10 digits in the caller ID.

This is for a digital PBX. 

As far as I am aware , there’s nothing that would let you interface this directly with a Cisco VG. You’d need the PBX or some interface device in the middle, or a different board for the appliance.
