Until now I have followed the recommendation to add a CSF Device in CUCM with a device name of CSF+UserID.
For technical reasons I need it to be something such as ZZZ+UserID (ARC's shared line support with CTI/TAPI always selects alphabetically lower device name for BLF status and CSF devices are often unregistered). This seems to work - just by assigning the ZZZUserID CSF device to the end user.
Can anyone see a technical reason why such a device name could cause problems?
