CUWL LICENSE USAGE

Dear All,

We purchased 1800 CUWL std Licenses, total registered phones 1500. i assoicated jabber profile for 1200 users with 4 profiles.each user has 4 profile. do i need to create a profile for 300 users in order to occupy CUWL Std?

Hi Siva,

you mean to say that you have created CSF for 1200 users.

In addition to that,  have u also created BOT,TCT,TAB for same user.

I mean to say that for 1200 users i created (BOT,CSF,TAB,TCT) for remaining 300 users not created as our all licenses are CUWL Std do i need to create for remaining. As a workaround for CUWL licenses?

Hi Siva,

Since u have already created 1200 users with BOT/TCT/TAB and CSF , so u have consumed 1200 CUWL Standard licenses and left with 600 CUWL standard.

For remaining, 300 users , u can create CSF/TCT/TAB/BOT or associate 6 more devices with same owner id.

If for these 300 users , u create only two like CSF/TCT then, UCL Enhanced Plus would be consumed which can be borrowed from CUWL Std.

Is there possible without association and creating profile. Licenses can be borrowed from CUWL STD?

Hi Siva,

you need to create profiles like CSF/BOT but if u do not associate say for 300 users , then, u would be consuming 300 number of UCL Enhanced licenses for each i.e. CSF,BOT,TCT ,TAB which of course  would be borrowed from CUWL Standard.

In this case, u would consume 1200 UCL enhanced licenses [300 X 4] would further in compliance issue since u have only 600 CUWL standard license.
