CWMS 2.5 HA Failover Testing

We have a HA configured CWMS 2.5(6) solution installed and have issues testing HA.

When we take the network connection for our Reverse Proxy offline (uncheck connected from the VCenter VM), our HA Reverse Proxy does not keep the meeting up from the web perspective.  Voice continues to work flawlessly, however, the web connected clients get a retrying message (bottom left of screen) and all chat/webex functions fail as well as new connections to meetings.

Has anyone else run into issues when testing failover on CWMS?

Hi,

Voice piece is not hosted on IRP VMs but on internal Media VM, unless there was PC audio used (which would go through IRP to Media VM). As web for failover, if you disconnect one IRP VM, the other IRP VM should initialize Public VIP IP address so WebEx Site URL should become accessible within 10-15 seconds. As for the active meetings, they should hung for 10-20seconds and then successfully reconnect. If this is not what is observed, it would require troubleshooting on the system, so TAC case would be recommended.
