default sound and privacy settings

I've been requested to change a couple of default settings for Jabber users:

1. Only play sounds when receiving the first chat message.  Is there a way to make this the default by either the jabber-config.xml file or a CUPS setting?

2. For a group of users, set Privacy to "Block everyone" by default for inside the company.  Unfortuantely there doesn't appear to be a bulk way to do this through the GUI. Is there a SQL way via the CLI for this?

Unfortunately these are both enhancement requests. You should open a TAC case and get TAC to open the enhancements so the BU can track them.
