I use Ubuntu as my desktop at home and log in to my work VDI desktop via Citrix that has Cisco Jabber Softphone. At work I connect to the same VDI via an Ubuntu thin client and the softphone works fine but not from home. I thin what I need is install the Cisco Jabber Softphone for Ubuntu here however I am not allowed to download this unless I am a corporate client with a support contract. I am sure that my huge corporate company has such a contract and pays a significant amount of money to Cisco but I have no idea who I would need to ask internally. Is there a way for someone to get hold of this software for personal use?
