I'm struggling to find this in any compatibility matrix documentation. Any help greatly appreciated.

Expressway is backward compatible with CUCM, meaning the latest Expressway 15 works with version 14.
Jabber 12.9 is recommended as per the CSR compatibility for CSR 14. I couldn't find anything mentioned for CSR 15. I think it should work without issues; however, the recommendation is to upgrade to 14

Thank you, that's great. My end customer is looking for a Cisco reference document. Would you have reference document for the expressway backward compatibility by any chance?

Hi Maren, unfortunately, unless I'm missing something, it doesn't specifically say Expressway is backward compatible with CUCM also doesn't say that Expressway X15 is compatible with CUCM v14.

No, but there are links in there to compatibility docs for the different components.

It's 's recommended that Cisco Expressway be deployed in conjunction with the latest version of Unified CM. However, Cisco Expressway is also backward compatible with earlier Unified CM releases.
