What exactly do you mean by “I can't connect to jabber”? Jabber is an application that connects to CM and CUPS, you don’t connect to it.
Apart from that you’d need to provide a little bit of more information for anyone on the community to be able to help you. Just stating that you have a problem, but not providing any information makes it virtually impossible for anyone to provide you with any useful advice.

Not sure if I fully understand where you wanted to get an answer. Care to elaborate?
Are your users local in CM or synchronised from a directory service, like AD for example? If it’s a local user you’d set the password in CM under End User and if it’s synced from a directory and uses authentication against the directory you’d set it in the directory service.
In general it is helpful if you provide as much information as you can come up with without being asked for specific information as it will make the process much faster.

you can only reset jabber application in jabber. if you need to reset password of user, you need to do that in cucm and if the user is ad synchronized ],then you need to change password in AD and sync again in CUCM
