We have any question about WebEx on premise server. We just want to know how to redirect http://testwebex.com to https://testwebex.com. So please inform us how to configure that on WebEx server side.

Dejan,
Thanks for confirming.
Guys as per my original post I have double checked as well, for my deployments automatic redirect is happening for both the sites Admin and User. As Dejan has mentioned worth checking your firewall.
Here is whats mentioned in the planning guide:
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/collaboration/CWMS/2_0/Planning_Guide/Planning_Guide_chapter_011.html#reference_125F962B1D20407186B1654C7A3F5873
Cisco strongly recommends that you open port 80 (http) in addition to port 443 (https), to simplify the end user experience (in a browser, users enter the WebEx site URL without having to remember whether it is http or https. However, for this product, the actual network traffic always flows over port 443 (SSL encrypted https).

Hi Guys - I am not in front of the console so cant check exactly but as far as I remember, if you enter the http it automatically redirects to secure http. What are you trying to access, admin/user site? From where internal or external and whats the issue you are seeing exactly?
I dont remember there is a special configurable setting on CWSM. I will try to logon and check as well but if you move this thread to Conferencing you will get a swift response from Dejan (from Cisco).

Hi guys,
There is no configuration on CWMS side for re-direction. If you allow both port 80 and 443 for accessing WebEx Site URL, you should be automatically redirected. Most of the time I've seen redirection not working is when the firewall is blocking these ports.
It is the same for both Admin and WebEx Site URL.
I hope this will help.

Hi Dejan,
Thank you for answer. We should be check firewall already allow port 80 for this CWMS right ?
So if allow port 80 for this CWMS on firewall these should be auto re-direct from port 80 to 443 ?

Hi Tanong,
That is correct. As Terry quoted from the documentation, if you open both ports 80 and 443 to WebEx site, CWMS will automatically redirect you to HTTPS.
