Dear All,
We have ISR 4431 router running with 16.9.6 , and having 25 CUBE- RTU licenses.
We are planning to upgrade the router to 16.12.05 and need to convert the licenses to smart. The router isn't communicate with tools.cisco.com, alternatively we tried to use SLR, but for using SLR need to deposit cube-25 licenses on the smart account, but licensing team unable to convert RTU licenses to smart.
For performing DLC(device led conversion) , token generation on the smart account is mandatory and router should communicate with cisco.com.
Can anyone suggest any method to enable this cube licenses to smart.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but your not going to be able to migrate your RTU SIP trunk licenses into a Smart License virtual account. The opportunity to do this migration has pasted, the date for this was sometime last year. You can however do the DLC process to migrate the device and application RTU license(s) or provide the license PID information and serial number from your gateway(s) to the global license support (GLO) to get their help with the conversion. This is what we did as we had a 30% failure rate for the DLC, so it was safer to go with GLO.

Hi,
maybe this helps:
It registers the CUBE to CSSM, but should work nearly the same, if you directly register the CUBE to Cisco Smart licensing portal.
