We have a Jabber for Windows 10.5.1 user who’s Jabber client shows “In a Meeting” when his calendar is clear. I looked in outlook if he has multiple calendars which he did not, when he logs into Jabber his status shows as “available” for around 15 seconds before changing to “In a meeting”. If I clear the local Jabber CSF folders it still displays the same behavior.
Where does Jabber get its free / busy status from? The local PC or a server side integration?

To elaborate further in CCMAdmin > User Settings > User > Service Settings we DO NOT have a checkmark in include meeting information in Presence (requires Exchange gateway
That would imply it's the Jabber client to Outlook 2010 MAPI client getting calendar info, correct?

If it is not server side then Jabber locally pulls Meeting information over MAPI connection. You need 2 things on a PC for In a meeting status to work.
- Option checked on Jabber for Outlook under options > integration
- MS outlook installed on PC.
