A customer want to use Jabber for Windows in a virtual environment. J4W is installed locally but Outlook is used with OWA only. The customer expect that the meetings tab show the appointments from there calendar but it doesn't at all. They have installed Outlook now locally with a profile without caching mode enabled and the meetings are visible. It is working for 80% of the users that they see there meetings. The rest can't see any meetings in the J4W meeting tab. Nobody is using Outlook on there computer, everyone is working in OWA.
Out of the documentation I've found only that the caching mode has to be enabled, but even then it is not working. The MAPI is not used by any other installed application.
The question now is, how is it supported to use the Outlook calendar without using Outlook on the PC (OWA only) or how can that be realized to receive the meetings into Jabber without using Outlook locally on the PC but having it installed with an active configuration. Any suggestions/ideas?
