Jabber Authentication Issues

Scott Hanson

Hello,

I have a couple of users getting an invalid username and or password message when trying to log into Jabber on their cell phones.  Fairly certain they are using the correct credentials. Using LDAP to authenticate against their AD credentials.  Is there anything in AD like Group membership or even something in CM I need to check?  CUCM 11.5 with integrated Jaber.

Thanks in advance

If you are using multiple clusters then check if all impacted users are
having same home cluster. If its single cluster then do what Jamie said or
ask your AD admin to check in AD audit logs and see if their attempts are
hitting AD. It might end as their accounts locked.

CUCM won't perform any authentication, it will relay the authentication
process to LDAP. I am rolling out expired certificates as they will be
getting certificate popups in that case.
