Jabber Cached Credientals Expiry

We have deployed Jabber sucessfully with over 1000 users. We are using Windows Active Directory with the Desktops on Windows 10. Everything works fine - well almost

We are getting overwhelmed with authentication failures...

What happens is...

People install Jabber, they might use it once or twice, then 3 months later - their ActiveDirectory password expires.

They login the PC again - reset their password- Jabber might (or might not) pop up

The ignore this window - or close it.

Jabber never pops up again and Jabber now fails every few minutes - as it has the old (expired) cached credientals.

I appreciate this is kinda a user issue but other applications that use integrated authentication circumvent this issue by not caching the credientals and simply authentuicating with the OS AD Credientals.

Is there a way to configure Integrated Authentication (not cached)? Like outlook / chrome etc

Any others having problems with expired users ?? Any suggested solutions or work arounds ??

If you want to use the OS credentials, then configure SSO in your environment, and do some end user education on not just disregard messages that comes from the applications.
