jabber Client on Android external contact

Our customer use Client Jabber on Android version 14.1..4.307304

We trying to add External Contact ( not from LDAP ) , but while adding , client search from LDAP .

Is it possible to add external contact in Android jabber ? Is it supported ?

Hi,
The only other option would be to use the phone's phone book.
Add a contact there, enable the privilige for Jabber to access the local phone book.
