jabber error "Provide server information"

I have just installed a new CIMP server on my existing CUCM.  I have not set up any SRV records just yet but am wanting to sign in a couple users first.  The CUCM is on a different domain than my CIMP but I have updated the default SIP Proxy service parameter to reflect this.

I go into advanced settings and point to my CUCM server IP and put in my username and password.  When I do this I get the error message "Provide server information"

CUCM and CIMP are both running on version 12.5

I ran across this issue today and it was resolved by enabling Home Cluster within User Management - > End User for that specific user. Hope this helps!

also make sure the DNS is able to resolve the CUCM host from the client where jabber is installed

Also make sure your end user is a member of the Standard CCM End Users Access Control Group
