Hi all,
Can someone please tell me if you enable file transfer on CUP for Jabber. Does this enable file transfer to externally federated parties (e.g. Google or another organisation). If it does - can file transfer be configured to only be permitted within the organisation.
Thanks,
Ken.

My IT Governance organization is also struggling with this question. Not only with external federations but also with other versions (such as Jabber for iPad, Android, etc.).
Would love to know the answer!

FIle Transfer seems to be only currently available on J4

The operation of my J4W client also confirms I cannot file transfer from Jabber to either to my Federated Google Gchat or AOL AIM accounts.
However, my AIM client was able to pass my Jabber client a file. AOL seems to do this by placing a file in a drop box and sending the link to the jabber, so not sure that really counts.

Gchat blocks it's client from attemptinmg to send a file to Jabber.
