Ive got an ipad here that i cant get to work with jabber 9.3. I get a:
"Failed to get device configuration"
error when i try to sign in. Im using CCM/CUPS 8.6 and using manual setup and sign in -> video and voice calling -> unified communications manager. I have no problem signing in with Jabber for iphone/ipad/osx/windows and I followed the guide here for ipad.
Ive looked up the error and found this but logging out of all my other cients didnt work. Also looked at this post too but when i enable sip authentication and config a digest user I get a "Cannot locate server" error instead. Looking through the error logs (Jabberxxxconsole.log) I see that CCMCIP doesnt provide the name of the device I configured for ipad (BOTXXXX). I see everythign else that has a devcie associated with my username. eg CFSXXXX, TCTXXXX.
Anyone know whats going on?

Not sure starting with which version, but Jabber for iPad requires a TABXXXXX device to be created.

Whoops typo. It is TABXXX. So many silly device names to keep track of.
