Does anyone know how the Jabber windows client works with the contact photos ? I have a deployment where we are using HTTP for contact photo retrieval. All of the photos have recently been updated, in fact, we updated the contact retrievel URL in the jabber-config.xml as well. However, we still see the old cached photos.
Hoping to understand how this caching mechanism works and whether the client will ever update/refresh the cached copy.

I literally just noticed that if I right click on the contact and select 'edit profile' that the photo is updated. I'm not sure whether it would eventually update on its own.

The photos look to be cached in the user profile on Windows 7
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Cisco\Unified Communications\
Jabber\CSF\Photos
