Jabber SDK for Salesforce.com on mobile devices

Is there a Jabber SDK that can be used to integrate Salesforce.com app on a mobile device?

This is more of a developer question that may find better answers on the DevNet forums; however, I believe the answer is ‘no’. Jabber registers protocol handlers to the OS for cross-launch but does not have an embeddable SDK as Webex Teams (aka Spark) does.
