Jabber Startup - want to default to remote control mode

Hi,

I want to make the Jabber for Windows client startup so it defaults to phone remote control mode, is there a way to be achieved?

Hi,

It is not possible to achieve this at the moment. There is an enhancement request open to track this for pre 9.0 CUCM versions.

CSCua58112: Jabber for Windows Needs Configuration for Defaulting to Deskphone Mode

CUCM  9.x has options to Enable "Automatically Start in Phone  Control" and  "Automatically Control Tethered Desk Phone" under Desktop  Client  Settings. Client will read these settings in a future release  (no timeframe available) to pick the phone mode on start up.

We have IM & Presence 9.1 & Jabber for Windows 9.2.
