I'm trying to get the msi installer to specify the Server Type to Cisco Unified Presense. Per the documentation, it appears that specifying it as such should accomplish that:
msiexec.exe /i CiscoJabberSetup.msi TYPE=CUP /quiet
It doesn't work, and I've even tried:
msiexec.exe /i CiscoJabberSetup.msi CLEAR=1 /quiet
then uninstalling reinstalling with just TYPE specified and I've also tried:
msiexec.exe /i CiscoJabberSetup.msi CLEAR=1 TYPE=CUP /quiet
But, not matter what Server Type is always what it was previously set to in the GUI (before uninstall).
How can I get the msi to set the type properly (fyi, /quient as no effect)?

Hi,
Can you navigate to following folder and verify that the bootstrap file contains PresenceServerType: CUP:
C:\ProgramData\Cisco Systems\Cisco Jabber
Navigate to:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Cisco\Unified Communications\Jabber\CSF
Delete config folder and launch Jabber.
Thanks,
Maqsood

Yes the bootstrap file did say that.
Both that file and everything under CSF remained after the uninstall.
I removed all of it and reinstalled and everything worked as expected.
Thanks
