After upgrading from version 10 to 11.0 and subsequently 11.1.1 the locations section does not appear below the status line in my Jabber clients.
None of my users can share their location with other users. Server is running 10.5.1.10000-9.
Choose file >> options >> location.
Create a location.
Try to use the reassign button to make the location appear under status. (It won't. The button remains greyed out).
Edit the location and uncheck the 'Share this location' button.
Click Save.
Now the reassign button appears and you can assign the location to the interface. (It will appear under your status until you restart Jabber, then it disappears).
I am unable to toggle the location as shared. The icon changes until I click somewhere else in the interface, then it goes grey.
Basically, we can add locations to the local interface but not share them.
Anyone else seeing this behavior? I have edited the jabber-config.xml to enable location features but the XML options have no effect.
