I am using advanced parmaetres in cisco jabber to fix the IP address of CUCM (9 and above) instead of IM & presence address
In file home-uds-info.xml located in the folder:
%AppData%\Roaming\Cisco\Unified Communications\Jabber\CSF\Config
in the Home UDS info i found this URL:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><UcmConfigCache fileVersion="1.0"><homeUdsNodes><currentHomeUdsNode version="11.5.1"><![CDATA[https://CUCM-PUB:8443/cucm-uds/user/h.hajamor]]></currentHomeUdsNode><homeUdsNode><![CDATA[CUCM-PUB]]></homeUdsNode></homeUdsNodes></UcmConfigCache>
Logically, I should find out the CUCM IP address and not the Host name. I addition I used the IP address in system>server in the Call Manager:
FYI: when I change the CUCM-PUB to its IP address, Jabber connect normally.
thank you for your help in advance

From what I can understand is that your main issue is that you cannot DNS resolve the "CUCM-PUB" hostname, and that's why when you changing it to an IP address it works fine. Is the issue occurs in the corporate network? If so, you must ensure that the DNS server of corporate network has the proper A record of "CUCM-Pub" with the correct IP address.

the target client is not attributed to the corporate domain for that:
https://CUCM-PUB:8443/cucm-uds/user/h.hajamor is not resolved
but https://CUCM-PUB.domain.com:8443/cucm-uds/user/h.hajamor is resolved and it works fine
which means that there is no DNS problem.
