MCU License with/for Cisco TelePresence System

Hi,

One of our client needs "Cisco Telepresense Profile 42 with Codec 40".

So i have suggested "CTS-P42C40-K9" option.

But they asked us "Built in MCU (should purchase the MCU license)" with the Cisco Telepresense system.

So anyone can suggest thtat is this part number is correct as per requirement? or i need to take any other devices?

Does Cisco Telepresense System has built in MCU? I can't find any MCU License option with selected CTS Device.

We need it on very urgent basis, i appreciate if you can provide information asap.

Hi,

This system includes the C40 codec so it does have an built-in MCU, or Multisite feature that it is called.

Hi,

The CTS-P42C40-K9 has built in MCU – or Multisite feature that is the name we have given it.

You can see that the SKU includes "C40" and that means that the codec used in that system is an C40 – so that system will have all the capabilities of an C40.

You can also see from the list that you sent me that it includes:

LIC-P42C40-MS --> this is the MultiSite that is the same as built-in MCU.
