Microsoft teams and other video platform issues - help

Hi All

Over the last few months as many of you are aware, there has been an explosion of voice and video colloboration platforms, MS Teams, Webex, Zoom etc.

The issue is that now each time there is a bad video call the network is getting blamed, this has lead to lots of calls to my team.

The issue is that as these are internet based services, it is effectively out of our hands once it goes out of our internet connection here, there is also an expectation of perfect quality.

We are also seeing a number of issues with pc's that are causing this such as high cpu / mem and headsets etc.

What are you guys doing to monitor this and prove its not the network as well as educate users?

Cheers

Hi

For Webex Control Hub is your best bet, but prevention is always good and base lining and ensuring sound and camera and any user tips you can give them is always useful.

Reality is we live in a multi platform world and some apps can seize mics and video and its always a battle as users switch and attend different platforms. Background apps also can seize CPU and network together with families all working from home is a gamble.
All we can do is suggest some best practice we have some guides but customers can create their own https://www.webex.com/webexremotework.html

Thanks,
