Trying to connect Jabber for IPhone over VPN to CME

Hi guys,

I have configured the CME router to connect to Jabber IPhone over VPN to the corporate network. Unfortunately, I cannot get the phone to register permanently to the CME. Please correct me if I am wrong: I do not need a user licence on CME for such a deployment. If I am connecting over VPN are there licensing issues involved??

What do ypu mean, I cannot get the phone to register permanently to the CME ?

Hi.

The cme version is 8.6. Jabber 9.0.

I can see from the logs that there were 24 registrations and 24 times it unregistered.

Am connecting via VPN. My main question is, do I need a user license if I am connecting using Cisco VPN client ?
