Unity Connection Directory Handler redirection?

To be honest, I have no idea what the customer truly wants. All we received was a request, that if someone uses the directory handler in Unity, if they input the name of one person, let's say Mr. Smith, instead of the directory handler calling or leaving a message on Mr. Smith's message box, they want to redirect the call/message to the secretary, so as to have the secretary answer instead. They still want Mr. Smith to have their own voicemail, so trying to do this without redirecting all calls.

They want multiple names to go to the secretary to handle the calls. Any suggestions for this problem?

Configure the Transfers on Mr. Smith’s mailbox to have the secretary’s extension instead. When someone dials by extension on a Call Handler or used the Directory Handler the Transfer Rules dictate what happens.

Okay, that's what we thought we'd have to do, but doesn't that mean that Mr. Smith's extension won't technically have a mailbox anymore? If we're always routing the calls, and they want to have him have a voicemail box to have some voicemails, is it possible to use transfer rules and have it link to both?

Transfer rules dont apply to forwarded calls so voicemail will still work for the user.
