So we had this setup and it was working for some time. We have since upgraded the system and are now running 12.5. At some point however the emails from Unity with the VM attached started behaving weird. What happens now is we get an email with another email attached. When you open that second email it has the voice mail attached.
Not sure what to do to fix this. We just want the voice mail .wav file attached to the original email. We don't want an email attached to an email with the .wav attached.
I hope this makes some sense.

Hi Cameron, were you ever able to solve this. If so, do you remember the fix? I know it has been a few years now. We have the same issue.

I was told by Cisco this is expected behavior.
