Hi,
I upgraded a Unity Server from 11.5 SU1 To SU5,
In "show version active" The Locale Version is 11.5.0.1-1000 (SU1)
I'm tried to upgrade the locale to 11.5.0.1-5000 (SU5) But I got a error because the Version already installed,
I'm wondering if it necessery to Upgrade the locale to SU5?
in Upgrading Cisco Unity Connection doc:
"After the upgrade, you may need to reinstall the locale depending on the source and the target version. If the target version is compatible with the existing locales, then you need not install any new locales. However, if the target version requires to install new locales, then remove the existing set of locales after the completion of upgrade process, and install the new set of available locales. To check the existing locales, use show cuc locales CLI command."
Thanks,
Asaf Goldberg

CUC uses some of the base blueprint from CUCM, but thinking everything is handled the same way as in CUCM, is a mistake.
As explained in the snip you posted, you delete the old locale (which is not even an option in CUCM), and then you install the new one.

And did you remove the one you had installed, before installing the new one?
That's in the snip you posted.
