using Jabber on CME

I would love to start using jabber at our office but we are running on a UC520 platform.  Seems like Jabber doesn't _officialy_ support CME but at the same time this doesn't mean it won't work, does it?

Anybody have any experience running jabber on UC520?  All Tips, suggestions and or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Diego

Hello Diego,

Cisco Jabber is supports the following:

Table 2. Platform Support and Compatibility for Cisco Jabber 8.6 for iPhone

Feature

Supported Product

Version Number

Telephony integration

Cisco Unified Communications Manager

7.1.5, 8.0.3, 8.5, 8.6, and 9.0 (refer to release notes for exact versions)

Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express

8.6 and 8.8

Jabber is supported on CME on the versions above.

Take a look on the datasheet:

Hello Leo:

Interesting that the iPhone version mentions CME but the Android version does not.  That is why I had the idea that Jabber did not support CME since we are interested in Android version.

Do you think it is just an oversight?  Weird, no?

Thanks,

Diego

Its not supported or isnt tested yet.

You can try to open a case on PDI but i think that will be the answer.

Thanks Leo.  I think I will take Paolo's suggestion but move the thread to Jabber Client and try my luck over there.

Thank you.
