Is it possible to setup collaboration edge (jabber remote access via VCSE) on a single VCS with the start pack installed? If possible, what extra license do I need because the unified communication section is not there.
Thanks.

I have not seen anything supporting collaboration edge architecture on VCS Starter pack
I don't see who you couldn't deploy collaboration edge in parallel with with the starter pack. The following link (session PDF) is very useful on deployment, design and part numbers.

Thanks for the info, that was very helpful.
It looks like I will have to deploy the free version in parallel to my starter pack. How does the licensing work with the Expressway-C and Expressway-E (free version that comes with CUCM 9.1.2)? Do I need to order a zero cost line item to get these free licenses?
Thanks for the help.

Hi,
Yes as long you have UCL or CUWL you can get them. The session PDF that was in the link also covers off the required part numbers.
