Voicemail on Spark

I have been working with Spark for a month or so now, in hopes that it would have everything needed to provide basic phone system functionality as a stand alone product for small business.   The one piece that I see is missing is voicemail.   I do not have a Cisco phone system of any type, but would like to ultimately move from my mitel phone system to Spark.   What can I do to add voicemail capability to spark since it does not appear to natively have it built in?  It does not seem practical to add a full Cisco phone system just to get voicemail.  Any help would be appreciated.   Also, if it is not in the line of soon coming features I would to put a vote in for integrated voicemail.  Thank you!

Ok, so a little more investigation and it appears voicemail is available, but perhaps requires a desk phone to setup.  Is that correct?

Yes, it is available.  Easiest to set up with a desk phone, but you can also dial the VM access number and perform setup that way.  Last week, VM to email was enabled.   I am hoping they put VM MWI and access features in the Spark client soon.  Not all my users have a phone and VM is a pain point.

Brad:
What are the other methods for setting up voicemail?  The scenario is a client would like to set-up voice mail prior to deploying desk phones.

Matt

I have voicemail to allow users to dial a number and enter the 4-digit code + 4-digit extension.

https://help.webex.com/docs/DOC-4126

From here you will see the PIN policy and once you dial the number you setup in the settings and enter the code + PIN you will get prompted for a name recording and greeting recording.

Hope this helps!

Can anyone confirm, is it possible to dial voicemail ID prefix from the Spark client to set-up voice messaging?  The documentation only speaks to setting up voicemail from a physical phone or via the DID (this implies a DID must be assigned).  Any help is appreciated.

Have there been any updates to the OP's voicemail/MWI question?
