Hi together,
as the documentation mentioned, it is not possible to change the email for a host user.
If the email is changed an the AD Server and synced to the CUCM, a webex sync add a new user with the changed email and inactivates the user with the old email.
Have anyone an idea how to migrate the scheduled mettings from the old user to the new user on the webex server and on outlook.
Thank you very much.

Hi Siegfried,
In CWMS, e-mail address is used as a unique identifier for a user profile and once a profile is created, cannot be changed. All the meetings scheduled by a specific user profile are tied to the e-mail address of the user.
If a user changes an e-mail address in their LDAP account and are synced to CWMS, a new account is created in CWMS with this new e-mail address as unique identifier. There will be no relationship between two CWMS profiles for the same user, as the e-mail addresses are different.
If the original account gets deactivated after the sync, there is no possible way to alter the meetings scheduled by that account.
You might have three different workaround for this issue:
1. Create a dummy account in LDAP with the OLD e-mail address, and sync it so the account gets activated in CWMS. Then, with this dummy account with the same OLD e-mail address, edit all the scheduled meetings and add the account with the NEW e-mail address as an alternate host to those meetings. That way, the meetings will retain their meeting number and the NEW account will be able to start them and host them even though the OLD account you will deactivate after the changes.
This might be too much work, especially if the user have many meetings scheduled prior to e-mail address change.
2. Create a dummy account in LDAP with the OLD e-mail address, and sync it so the account gets activated in CWMS. Then, with this dummy account with the same OLD e-mail address, cancel all previously schedule meetings and then deactivate the account. Use the account with NEW e-mail address to schedule new meetings.
3. The user with the NEW e-mail address can just schedule new meetings with the new account without canceling the old ones.
I hope this will be of help.

Hi Siegfried,
I don't believe there is a publicly available API document. You may try reaching out to your Cisco Account Team to see if they can obtain that for you.

Hi,
thank you very much for the answer. I'm looking for a way to make the rescheduling of the meetings (as you described) automatically. The xml or url api has all the functions to do this, but I didn't found any hints if these APIs are available on the on-premise webex.
Have anyone a information about the APIs (for on-premise).
Thanks.

Hi Philippe,
2.6 still doesn't offer that option. This option will be delivered in CWMS 2.7 version scheduled for release this coming Summer.
