Webex causes Internet explorer to crash Faulting module path: C:\ProgramData\WebEx\ieatgpc.dll

When the Webex plug-in launches in IE, it causes IE to crash with the dialogue box "Internet explorer has stopped working"

 

The event log shows
Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE
Faulting module path: C:\ProgramData\WebEx\ieatgpc.dll

Using
IE version 11.0.9600.19035 update version 11.0.65
Webex Meeting Centre 32.12.5.2

Windows 7

Can anyone suggest a fix for this please?

Hi there

Could you try this and see that helps ?

 

Step 1: Open Internet Explorer

Step 2: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Security >
Step 3: Uncheck "Enable memory protection to help mitigate online attacks"

Thansk for the reply Rath!, however we do not see this setting in IE 11, and its not in Group Policy either so its not hidden.
