What is Cisco Media Services Interface

Hi Everyone,

I am designing a voice delployment with Hard and Softphones (Jabber)  and was just wondering if anyone could give me a simple explanation of What Cisco Media Services Interface is and what it adds to a deployment.  Simple question i know but i dont have any experience with voice and am learning as i go along.

Hi Neil,

Just giving you an example that I am using: MSI will permit phone to be controlled by Jabber (deskphone control); you could initiate a call from phone and have audio from phone and then start video from Jabber etc.
