Introduction

This document covers the procedure on how to determine whether the Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) production hardware is ready for an upgrade to 9.1?

Problem Description

Trying to determine if Customer’s CUCM is acceptable for an upgrade to CUCM 9.1 and having trouble tracking down the original part number purchased. It is MCS-7845 but trying to see how to determine that from the CUCM CLI and the goal is to make sure it is supported for production use. Is there a way to tell based on the show hardware whether it is supported for production use 9.1 and how to determine the existing hardware type is ready for an upgrade to 9.1?
