The SX80 codec can be factory reset in several ways:
By issuing the xAPI command: xCommand SystemUnit FactoryReset Confirm: Yes
By using the Touch panel: Settings - Administrator Settings - Reset

The Procedure i have explained in this video is doing a factory reset using a physical button.

By using the following power button sequence:
1. Power down the unit by holding the power button in for 5 seconds.
2. From a cold start, press and hold the power button in for 10 seconds until the power LED starts to blink.
3. Press the power button twice within 2 seconds and the codec will reboot with default settings.
4. The unit is now reset to factory defaults.

Here is the Serial output, at the time of factory reset.

Hi All,

Please can someone help me with factory reset settings for Cisco C60. Since password has been forgotten.

Thanks

Follow below steps.

1. Connect a serial cable to the system at 38400, 8, N, 1
2. Reboot the system
3. Log in with the user "factoryreset". This user is only available a short period of time after reboot (in TC6 it is always available). When logging in with this user it is possible to do an xcommand systemunit FactoryReset Confirm: Yes.
4. Do a reboot: "Xcom boot"
5. The system is now factory reset.

6. After short rebooting you must login to the c60 unit by putting user : admin and password : "" (blank)
