We have a VWIC2-2MFT-T1/E1 on 3845 and is trying to connect to an IPC. Suspecting it might be framing, line code etc mismatching.

Thanks for the advice if anyone experience the similar issue.

Also what is the debug syntax command to look into controller E1?

Regards

Try framing CRC4. If it still shows down put a loopback on the router and contact the provider. It could be a circut or a switch port issue.

Thanks for the comment.

Since it is a VWIC2-2MFT-T1/E1, do we need any command to specifically tell the card is an E1 card?

Issue the "card type e1 slot [bay]" command in global mode.
