... currently called "Collaboration, Voice and Video".
Considering that
Can it be renamed (may be) "Unified Communications" or anything else that is easier to classify ?

Ok you wanted it...you got it. Sung to the tune of "A Hourse with No Name"
On the first part of my journey
I was looking at all the posts
There were routers and switches and phones and things
There was collaboration and scriptings
The first thing I know Paolo's making a buzz
And heads are in the clouds
The heat was hot and the group made a cry
But Paolo was breaking new groud
I've seen the community with a new name
It felt good to be out of the rain
In the fourm you can remember your name
'Cause there always someone to make the answer sound sane
La, la ...
After two days the name change is done
My brain began to clear
After three days the name change has been fun
I was looking at the old name
And the story it told of a day that has gone by
Made me glad to think it was dead
You see, I've seen the community with a new name
It felt good to be out of the rain
In the fourm you can remember your name
'Cause there always someone to make the answer sound sane
La, la ...
After nine days I let the posts run free
'Cause the new name had turned to glee
There were posts and answers and ideas and things
there was joy and happiness and a phone that rings
The community is a place with it's life underground
And a perfect disguise above
Under Cisco lies a heart made of gold
and the humans will give much help
you see, I've seen the community with a new name
It felt good to be out of the rain
In the fourm you can remember your name
'Cause there always someone to make the answer sound sane

Hi Paolo,
Thanks for the feedback. Let me bring this up with some folks internally to get their input. Does anyone else have thoughts on Paolo's suggestion?
Cheers,
Dan

I would argee with Paolo's "Unified Communications", it is much more in line with what Cisco is calling it.
Also....when is the EEM scripting going prime time...I love it and I think others will once it is out there for general consumption.

Mike,
Not sure I follow your comment about the EEM Community going prime time? It is open to everyone now and is listed on the CSC homepage.
Cheers,
Dan

Sorry...I thought the EEM was still beta......should have checked

Paolo and Mike,
Any thoughts on whether it would still be acceptable to have a "Unified Communications Applications" sub-community under the proposed "Unified Communications" Community?
Cheers,
Dan

I will defer to the main man Paolo on that one.........

Hey Folks,
Interesting discussion here
I do see the value of changing the "Community" name to something
more current/relevant. I don't think you can have a "Sub-Community"
name that is so close ie: Unified Communications Applications under
Unified Communications.
.
How about changing the "Sub-Community" to "Messaging" or something along
those lines??
Cheers!

PS: where have you been C-O-C-G?? We've missed you Mike! I'm surprised
you haven't penned a verse for the "name change"

Hey Rob...
Yeah been very busy...too many things so little time. I try and stick my half penney in when I can. I am not quite up to putting in two cents ....still learning.
A verse for the name change...ummmm! Wheels are a turning.

Hey Mike,
So, so, GREAT! Why do you work with mundane "network" things when you have
such a talent...so, so GREAT!
Thank you for brightening our day my friend
Cheers!
