ATA 190 outgoing fax not working

Hi experts,

I am facing an issue regarding the outgoing fax. Detail is as under.

- Extension to extension and Fax from the PSTN works fine.

- We are using analog FXO lines as PSTN

- For outgoing FAX doesn't connect. Using analog phone most of the times it gives busy but sometimes call connect towards the pstn.

I have Fax mode T.38 on cucm admin page for ata.

I will be able to share gateway configuration later on.

Need help.

I had the same problem. Inbound started working once dial-peers were configured for each ATA in the GW, but outbound was still an issue.

We finally fixed outbound by changing the Fax mode from T.38 to NSE Fax Pass-through g711ulaw.

I have a similar issue but my case is is alarm line where it is just an analog phone .

The ATA worked fine as analog line, inbound and outbound worked, but faxing was the issue. They registered with no problem with CUCM 8.5 at the time. what issues are you currently having?

I am not having an dialtone on ATA 190 .

 when I dial incoming it is working .but when I try outgoing nothing is happening .
