Change Data Capture on UCCE HDS/AWDB Databases

Has anyone had any success with enabling SQL CDC (Change Data Capture) on UCCE HDS and/or AWDB Databases. We are basically looking to make UCCE data (historical and real-time) available to an external enterprise database which can then be used to build operational dashboards and reports.

Interested in finding out, if anyone accomplished this. If so, were there any performance issues on the HDS?

What we've done is have a 3rd HDS/AW that is only used for this 3rd party consumption. From there you want to do an ETL to your 3rd party reporting tool. You don't want to consume data directly from the HDS.
