Here are my two questions:
1.The Doc indicates that all the voicemail ports have to be configured using the same number-pilot number.
What if we use different number same as we do in CCM, for example 1000(pilot), then 4001, and so on.
2.Also another question about the MWI port, I have a demo unity version which only supports two ports.say the pilot I created is 1000. How should I config the CME, should I leave the 2nd number as A01 for MWI as from Cisco doc?
Thanks

Hi
1. I'd say use the same number for them all - anything else just complicates the configuration. This same number for each port with preference serves is the simplest way to configure it, CM is different as it works different internally..
2. If you've just using demo kit, and only have two ports, I'd leave both ports with diallable numbers (so if you're integrating with CME only have 1000 for example on both). Dedicated port for MWI is good in production but limits you when you have only two ports - i.e. if you create a call handler in Unity that dials out it won't work well if you are dialled in on one port, the other is taken for MWI - no ports left for dialling out.

while we are on the discussion of unity integration with cme. I have set this up in a lab. The mwi never comes on, on the cme phones. when i check the message status for the extension in unity, it is on.
i can also dial the mwi on and off dn on the phone and that switches the light on and off.
any ideas
