Good afternoon everyone.
From the Help, Run Action was described as ....
A macro is a shortcut for a sequence of keystrokes. For example, you might record a macro that performs the following tasks with each incoming call:
If anyone has configured this before, could you please help me? I would like to Copy ANI from Agent Desktop to 3rd party HelpDesk application to search the customer. Could you help me step by step for this process? I've tried this...
1. Left open a helpdesk application screen
2. went to Desktop Admin --> select Work Flow Groups --> Voice Contact Work Flows --> Select the work flow list --> Add Action when Events is "Answered".
3. Select Run Macro
4. New --> Record
.....From here, how can I record the process of copy the ANI and bring the ANI to help desk ticket search?? (or Outlook contact list)
Thank you
Nana

You don't copy it, you reference it. When you start the recording of the macro, there will be a floating window which you activate with the key F2 (if I remember correctly). When you press F2, you will have the option to select an enterprise value, and one of them should be the calling number.
So, again, you don't copy it, you reference it after pressing F2.
Give it a shot, and if you need more help, I can take some screenshots for you.

Good morning Anthony, Yes, you are correct. F2 gives me the options......But still did not succeed to retrieve the information by Macro.... Could you kindly send me screenshots?
Thank you so much for your reply
