CTI Server message interface

Hello, we're looking for feedback about using directly the CTI server message interface (without using CTI OS module) to develop CTI application.

Has anyone ever developped such applications ?

You can try to implement the CTI protocol, wich is not an easy work. Take a look to the CTI Protocol Guide at http://www.cisco.com/application/pdf/en/us/guest/products/ps14/c1667/ccmigration_09186a0080146347.pdf

Without using CTI OS CIL Library, what could be the other solutions for developping a 3rd party application ?
