CUCM enduser pwd to Phone services pwd for UCCX

Hello All,

Password in CUCM Enduser page will automotically reflects to CUCM IPPA phone service PWD filed? Please check the attachment and please explain.

Hi,

no, there's no automatic linking.

If you set the password to "abcd" at the CCM End user page, you will have to set the Pwd parameter of IPPA to "abcd", too.

Thanks for your information. Having one more question. What will be the status if I bring LDAP into the picture?. Password filed in Enduser page will be graded out if I integrate CUCM with LDAP, whether I have to configure the password manually in the IPPA or it will reflects.

Hi, yes, unfortunately, you'll have to enter the password manually, regardless of LDAP integration.

On the other hand, you can use the "standard" login form of the IPPA service and let agents enter their passwords - this way you are not "forced" to enter sensitive information into CUCM.
