Doubt about exam 642-165 exam recertification

Hi Guys,

I Have the 642-165 certification that will be finish in 2015 February. This certification will retire and substitute by 500-051 exam. My question is;  to certifcate this exam the CCIE Collaboration write is a alternative or only to do the exam 500-051 to recertificate?.

AFAIK giving the CCIE Written Exam should automatically re-new all the lower certifications and the Specialist Certifications.

Since this 642-165 is retiring, the only way should be to take up the 500-051 which would showcase the current UCCX Specialization.
