E1 redundancy isdn pri

HI all,

Am getiing calls from one PRI and it is routed to cisco ivr(comprehensive model)

with statis routes .NOw what i need is.if this one E1 goes down entire calls would be affected .

i need help in e1 redundancy ie if that e1 goes down..call should be auto routed to another E1

voice gateway :5400 series

This is not possible with TDM trunks, only stateful Failover on sip trunks across local cubes would provide this.

Hi,

if the second PRI line is also from the same Telco provider, then you can ask them to share the same MSN range with both PRI's. So if one PRI goes down stil the other can handle all the incoming and outgoing calls without any configuration changes from your side.
